My '98s bed has seen better days. I'm thinking a spray on might really bring things back to life, as well as give my puppy something to grip on while back there.

Any experiences? Anything to know? Any preference of one over the other? There's a local Line-X shop close by, so I think I'll swing by and let them pitch me on the stuff.

did u get yur spray-n-bed liner yet, ?

the dealer did mine b-4 i picked it up , some local shop in SLC, it was a free-b to buy it
looks great , dont kno who done it rite now, but yes they are nice.

there are probly afew cheap out-fits out there, meaning , they spray 1 very thin coat,
make sure they do the tops of the bed rails as well..

spendy ?? look to forken out about $150 or so ....

i think rhino's is the best , just because they started it ,,,just about,,,???

I believe they now both offer life time warrenties so really it comes down to price I would think. Both are great products. I'm thinking of doing both the bed and the inner rear fenders as well on the bed to prevent rust.

We put a spray-in liner in our 3500 when it was new (4 years ago). While it has held up very well, I'm not sure that I would do the exact same thing again. What I mean is, we had a color-matched urethane liner sprayed in, not the typical black one. Supposedly, it would never fade, etc., but it really no longer matches the rest of the truck. I think since my truck is red with black accents, I should have done the black liner. Mind you, when the bed is busy like mine always is, it's hard to notice. I suppose that I'm the only person who really does see the difference.

All are essentially the same. I think it comes down to quality of the shop installing it and price point. I have had diferent ones in the past and the one I have now was installed by the dealer and I think is the best one of all. Nice and thick and grippy.

Jason Have you done this yet? I have had both Line-X and Rhino lined beds. Both are good products. Line-X is a bit ruffer to the touch and because of that it is harder to push something heavy on it. Strictly go by price. Desert Dog is way off price wise. herculiner that you do yourself cost about $100.00 for the kit. Expect something in the $400.00 to $500.00 range.

I am looking for a spray in liner as well and the price difference is only $40 (Line-X $500+tax and Rhino $539+tax) so it comes down to which product it think is better

Well for me it wouldn't really matter both were very good. I had 0 problems with either.
The onkly differance that I could see was that Line-X has a ruffer feeling to it. So I guess it might depend on how you use your truck. Things slide a little bit easier on the Rhino. Which could be good or bad depending on what you carry in your bed.
If you want to feel free to PM me. I will help with any questions you might have if I can.

well just finished talking to someone and they say that the Line-X will be a little more durable and will not fade in colour as much as the Rhino

I haven't found that either one is more durable than the other. And at least where I live in the desert either one will fade. But that really isn't that big of a problem either. There is what they call a rejuvenator. That you can apply to the coating. It brings the deep Black color back.

I would go strickly by price. They are both very good products. I have never had an issue with either one.
