2005 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad 71k miles...
A few weeks ago I started her up, and noticed the RPM gage was constantly going up and down (0 to 3000). Once the vehicle was in motion it would stop. Then out of the blue it seemed to correct itself, until Friday. The RPM issue has returned and my check engine light has came on. I have also noticed while driving at a steady speed of 45 mph or less, the truck has a hard time.. it sputters like its going out of gas. Once I give it some gas, it stops. It only seems to do this at 45 mph or below.
As you can probably tell by my description, I'm a girl and know very little about my fantastic truck! :) I sure do love her though! Any ideas on what the problem could be and how much this is going to cost to fix?
