got a truck on my hands, its the biggest hillbilly special I've ever had. I love it:D. I'm trying to find out what transmission I have in it, so maybe some of yall can help. It definitely a 3 speed automatic, manual 4wd, but its either on a 79 or 89 dodge 318, I cant tell. I can tell you the motor is carbed, and it has the v belt, other than that idk of anything else that would give clues to the year. If you need any more info to figure out what it is just lemme know.

What engines will that transmission bolt up to?

its kinda early brain only fire on 7/cyl but i believe all LA engines 64-92 have same bell housing bolt pattern most use 6 bolt flywheel/crank. LA eng 273 318 340 360.
