Ability to REPORT "DUM" ASS POST!

We really need to be able to can/block post of PORNOGRAPHIC nature. I quick DELETE for all members to use. Perhaps a controlled button where it temporary removes the post till a mediator can look it over and make the call. If a member abuses this option... then they should be dealt with accordingly... This would give all members the ability to police the site and at least keep content rated "G"...

Perhaps give this ability to trusted members at first... then as the site grows let the mediators take over.... but we need to keep the PORN SPAMMERS off this site!

There is a "Report Post" feature built in. Look in the upper right hand corner of each post and you'll see three red diamonds arranged in a triangle. Mouse over that and a popup will confirm that's the "Report Post" shortcut.

As for your quick delete idea... probably not for the general masses. Way too much "black helicopter" possibility there. Instead we typically select moderators and assign them specific forums to keep an eye on. So far we're not large enough to warrant more staff. Those of us staffers already on board just need to keep tabs and so far, especially if you use the Report Post feature, its something we can handle.

Not the best graphic I will admit. When we get the time I'm sure we will figure something out. Like a little mushroom cloud maybe.
