the lift should have said the recommended largest size, i run a 5.5 fabtech performance suspension lift (which is going away soon cause it sucks) , but im buying a 5 inch suspension from rough country and they say the largest recommended tire is 35X10.5, so i wouldnt go over a 33X9.5 with a 4" lift

The size axle really doesn't limit what you can put on but what your planning on doing with it will.

Had 44s on stock axles but i damn sure wouldn't take it off road:D

I wouldnt go as far as saying a 33x9.50 on a 4" lift.... It all depends on Wheel offset and backspace. I think with the right wheel you can fit a 35x12.50 on with no problems. Also to go along with what the lift manufacturer states as maximum tire is on a stock sized wheel and offset.

Yea that one looked pretty Custom to me haha. What components did you use? I can see in one picture there was some pretty stout spacers in the front. Looks like a 4 link setup in the rear. Im actualy thinking of Making my own 4" lift without buying an actual kit. Going with 2500 V10 springs and the 60f - 80r axles (i think thats what they are i havent checked in a while.) with my leveling kit and some 2" blocks out back.

P.S. Sorry for Jacking your thread.
