Well guys I have been hard at work designing adapter plates to bolt up a Cobra "LOWER" (<===HINT) Intake manifold to our 4.7L engine... We completed the adapters and it turns out they will allow for OTHER intakes to mount to the 4.7L engine... to include the SULLIVAN PERFORMANCE SINGLE PLANE INTAKE MANIFOLD. We have it mounted with just a few new obstacles and it should be up and running shortly... Here are a few pictures.

We will have some details as soon as we get some testing done. But its looking promising.

Just some teaser pics...

To gain another 3" of clearance we are going to test fit this lower profile elbow...

This should help out quite a bit in gaining additional hood clearance... I'm not worried about the RAM... its the Dakota boyz that would be the ones to benefit from them. (http://www.airram.com/product.php?categoryid=0&productid=1296&searchquery=adapters)

Here are some pictures of the install today...
