steering rack in cold weather

I have had rack replaced under warranty on my 2003 hemi 2500 2years ago.Is this part of drive train 7/160,00 if it goes again.Any way to keep rack warm in 040 weather

2003 up 2500 & 3500 4X2 had independant front suspension, and a steering rack. 4X4 and Chassis cab had a box.
