Supercharge or turbo ?

Any one here have either? Is there a quality system made for our trucks? And which forced induction would be better for a 4x4 truck

I'd look at Whipple and Vortec, myself. And I prefer superchargers as they provide immediate boost from idle to redline. They are also easier to tune than a turbo, IMHO.

I don't have one on this truck. I supercharged a 2003 Yukon with the 5.3L engine, using the WhippleCharger and it worked great.

I'm actually looking into a S/C for my 300C SRT8 right now...lol

I saw Vortec is making one for the SRT's. Haven't found much for the ram that looks like a relieable piece.

kenne bell makes a twin screwed roots supercharger thats mind blowing i think they make them for the ram's

personally i would put on a syntripical supercharger you can install one within a day dont have to replace stock manifolds and is half the price and can almost make same horsepower and torque rating as the roots. and if you cant install and roots style supercharger yourself thats more money you have to spend but if you have it to spend shoot man go with the roots

if you are looking at cost efficiency i would look at a site called rjssuperchargers.com and call them their kits start at 1500. they are roughly a procharger but a procharger for your truck will cost at minimum 4000
