I have some minor scratches on the driver said of my truck. Being it' black, they stick out more than usual, especially since I keep it so clean.

What do you all recommend to take care of the scratches? Buffing them? Using some sort of scratch remover?

all help appreciated...

If its a scratch through to your primer or metal i would run a bead of color matched paint in the scratch then go over it right away with a plastic putty scraper to level the paint and dry it with a hairdryer on low. Repeat that till its level then use a finish wax over the whole panel. Its if a white or heavy scuff i use Maguires cleaner wax, the stuff is amazing just buff it either with your hands or a low speed buffer. Works every time. For some of the really bad ones, like paint or heavy markings Ive used Acetone (No it doesnt damage your paint at all, ive used it on my 99 cherokee with the crappiest flaking paint ever) then hit the area with wax right after, and just do quick wipes with the acetone dont scrub. P.S ive done all these techniques and they all work the best that ive found.
