I have a 2003 Ram 1500 2WD with a 4.7 that has developed a stuttering/hesitation, sometimes resulting in a stall. This only occurs at slow speeds when coming from a full stiop. Medium to highway speeds there is no problem. It started about a year ago. At first it would only happen maybe once a month. Now it's pretty much all the time. It's like there is a dead spot in about the first 1/4" of pedal travel. It happens alot when I give the pedal a slow steady push. If I mash on it pretty fast, I can feel it try to hesitate, then then accelerate. I have had the fuel system and throttle body cleaned and pressure tested. It does not throw a code when it does this. Dealer has looked at all the obvious suspects TPS, fuel pressure, but have no Idea why, and whats causing it. Any ideas? Thanks.
