I just recently bought a 79 W150 am lifting it putting 40" mud grapplers on it and want to upgrade the axles. Does anyone know if the aam 11.5 rear and 9.5 front axles out of a 05 ram 2500 diesel will work with my truck?

With some modification (and fabrication) they could work. Leaf spring pads on rear axle would have to be moved, front control arm brackets would have to be removed and replaced with leaf spring mounts, or the trucks frame modified to accept the 2005 control arms and upper coil spring mounts. Driveshafts would have to be modified or custom ones built. Doable but time consuming. I know they showed how to do axle swaps like this on Extreme 4X4 (Spike TV's powerblock).
