2008 Ram 1500 problems with 2wd/4wd auto/4wd

Anyone heard of or had problems where you can't shift between 2wd, 4wd auto, and 4wd. I had mine in 4wd auto and I can't seem to shift out of it. First day its happened and when I try to say go to 2wd it will flash there and eventually go back to 4wd auto. Anyone know how to fix it or what is wrong?

Make sure your below 20 MPH and have your foot off of the brake. If it still doesn't work, shift into neutral then take your foot off of the brake. If it still won't work go to the dealer.

I have the exact same problem....only it got worse.....the 4auto indicator was on but no 4x4....stuck in the drive of pizza hut. Got unstuck, parked.....and tried to get it to change selections.....no dice......tried turning it off hoping the computer system would reset...it won't turn over now......dead where it sets. The 24 hour towing assistance can't get a tow to me ......the roads are apparently closed due to snow, even though my wife picked me up in her mustang. That was last night.....roads are clear now.....still no tow. Woe is me, no vehicle and dealer won't come get it.
