I already answered this on your heated seat thread, but I'll copy the reply over here.
Does it do it on any specific door or doors??? Does it do it with the driver's door, or with one of the other three doors, or all 4??? Does it do it with just the liftgate open??? The dome lights have power to them from a fuse all the time, but the Central Timer Module (CTM, a Body Computer) turns them on and off by completing a circuit, based on door ajar switch state. Ergo, you open a door, the ajar switch for that door grounds a circuit to the CTM, and the CTM grounds the driver circuit of the dome lights, which turns them on.
Turning them on manually is a similar function, except the CTM is turning the lights on based on the dimmer switch position instead of the ajar switch state. Let me know what you have.

The interior light flashes no matter what door you have open or the liftgate. The only time it doesn't is if you turn them on when all doors are closed. You can also just push the room light on and it does not flash but doors have to be closed.
Appreciate the help.

Allright. If you had a 2004-2006 Durango with flickering dome lights then you would have fallen under a recall for the cluster.
Try this. When the dome light is flickering is the door ajar light also flickering??? If not try moving the dimmer switch to a different position and see if it the dome lights stop flickering, or if it makes it worse.

Here it is, the only time the dome lights flash is when the vehicle is not running. As soon as you open any door or hatch it happens but when the vehicle is running and you open a door it doesn't do it.
Doesn't matter if you move the dimmer switch position or not, makes no difference.
Thanks for any help.

Does it have an aftermarket remote start???

Yes it does have an aftermarket remote start. The start was installed by a qualified person, not just a back yard mechanic. The remore start is an Avital and it is hooked up to start vehicle only, does not have the door unlock feature hooked up on it as I have the the remote that came with the vehicle to lock and unlock doors.

My only other suggestions are to check grounds G307 behind the Left B-Pillar trim cover and G306 behind the LR quarter trim. Also, behind the left kick panel is the Central Timer Module (CTM) which controls many functions, including the dome lights. Check the wiring to it for any issues. Otherwise, you'll need the factory scan tool to observe the door ajar switch operation when the lights flicker. If it for whatever reason needs a CTM, do not install a used one. It is mileage and sometimes vehicle specific. The mileage for the vehicle is stored in the CTM, the odometer in the cluster is merely a display.
