Well, if you know something about them, tell me why my '99 4x4 QC has vibrations from 40mph up to 70mph? And, its NOT the tires or rims....

You are experiencing what has been most commonly referred to as the Death wobble.
the common fixes are
1.) alignment
2.) tire rebalancing
3.) replacement of trac bar with a beefier one like MOOG (these are also gnar http://www.thurenfabrication.com/stocktb.html )
this is a start in the right direction at least.

Thats all been done, problem still exists... The only thing I haven't checked is the driveshaft - its possible its out of balance as the vibration does seem to fluctuate with throttle variance.

check the U-joints

check the U-joints
That too has been done. I've already had all the "cheap" stuff replaced trying to fix this, with the exception of the drive shaft. All the U-joints have been done, the forward and transom on the long, all 3 on the front shaft AND the front axle joints.
The vibration is felt mostly in the seat and floor board, so its telling me it must be closer to the rear of the vehicle.

If it is a two piece shaft, make sure the shafts are phazed right..

you can remove the front shaft and drive the truck with it out, to eliminate that from the solution

Hey crazy, nice to see you made it over here too! When did the vibration start, Was it after off roading, a burn out, having work done or something like that? I agree if its felt in the floor and seat then its drive line, and not steering. Just another thought did the truck sit all summer while you drove the charger? If so the tires could be slightly out of round, from sitting in the same spot too long. Happened to my truck when I blew out the tranny.

Thinking back, its been like this for quite some time. It started mid-winter last year and I've been trying to track the issue all summer. Started off with balancing the tires. Then did the rear U-joint, followed by the front U-joint, then the joints on the small shaft and finally the front axle joints (all of them needed it, but none were the cause). We put a Moog trac bar in when I had the power steering gear box replaced (gear box was grinding since the day I bought it).
I've tried to drive it 1~2 times a week, even if its just a short trip, so the tires are not developing flat spots.

Looks like ya covered most of it, But I wonder if it isn't a rear tranny mount starting to goo bad or possible a bent rim? I'll think about about it more tomorrow when I'm Little more sober. LOL

Yeah, if the U-Joints are good, then a driveline misalignment may be possible. A check of driveshaft angle shoild be first. This is a shot in the dark, but if there is an issue with the overdrive unit of the auto trans (46RE, 47RE-basically a heavily modified 727 with an overdrive unit in the extension housing) a vibration COULD be felt. One way I can think of is the direct clutch snap ring breaks over time (You'll find a piece of a snap ring in the pan, this is a piece of direct clutch snap ring) and depending on the amount of breakage, the clutch pack can slightly ****, and cause a vibration. There is a dangerous part here. Behind those direct clutches is a HUGE coil spring. IF YOU PLAN ON ATTEMPTING TO SERVICE THIS UNIT BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL!!! THE ONLY OTHER THING HOLDING THE DIRECT CLUTCHES IS A SMALL SNAP RING IN THE CENTER!!! YOU NEED A PRESS AND SPECIAL TOOLS TO SERVICE THIS CLUTCH PACK!!! Even if you plan on replacing the overdrive unit be careful!!! The old unit may be hard to remove due to the ****ed clutches. Prybars and an extra set of hands help here. Also, there is a selective spacer in between the overdrive piston on the trans. and the overdrive clutches. You have to follow the procedure in the shop manual to select the correct spacer. Too big can cause the overdrive clutches to stay applied and cause inreased wear of the overdrive clutches, too thin can cause no overdrive clutch operation or slippage. When reinstalling, also remember to re-insert the park rod into the pawl, needle nose pliers help here. Overwhelmed???

Have you switch tires front to rear yet, I would be interested to see if the problem follows the tires for sure or not.

its a problem in the tranny all dodges do it in between 2nd and 3rd gear you gotta put a shift kit in it to stop it, transgo makes a real good one.
