I sold my extra property and house so rarely drive my truck. It's a 99 Dodge CUMMINS Laramie SLT longbed extended cab.
The good:
Engine runs perfect (of course, it's a Cummins!). Has a Diablo Power puck on it so no sliced or tapped wires like the other tuners. Also has a Bully Dog CAI with less than 1,000 miles on it, a 4" all stainless steel exhaust from the turbo back and a 5" stainless steel tip. The fuel system has less than 1,000 miles on it, FASS fuel pump, new filter and VP44 injection pump! I have a brand new steering column mounted pod and Isspro fuel pressure gauge for it as well. Do your homework and you'll see this year gets GREAT fuel mileage and the VP44 issue is resolved and the fuel pump and pressure gauge will keep you good to go. I replaced the batteries a few years ago with some 750CC ones. Lots of cranking power!
The headlights had yellowed some so I replaced both headlights and went ahead and replaced the taillights as well. I'm sure I still have the old ones and you can have them too.
Brakes were done not long ago and I bought new slotted front rotors and have an extra set of brand new front pads.
The tires are Toyo Open Country and are only a few thousand miles old.
Stereo was just upgraded last year to an Alpine head unit and all speakers were replaced as well. I still have the stock stuff too.
The dash cup holder is perfect, these are often broken on these trucks.
Cloth interior is in nice shape, there has been one small repair on the side of the driver's seat, but you have to look for it to notice.
Power door locks, cruise, tilt, power windows, rear sliding glass. Rear seat folds down. Fairly new DODGE Ram logo floor mats.
This truck has never been raced or pulled anything heavy often. It did make a trip out to California and back with a car trailer several years ago. Used it to haul remodeling items, hay for my donkeys and my trailer with yard equipment.
The so so:
The headliner has a small sag "bubble" in it. I'm not wanting to try and buy spray headliner adhesive to fix it so it's live with it or you try and repair or replace.
The driver's door has some paint fade and clear coat peeling. Overall the paint is in fair shape, hey... it's a TRUCK! No dents or big damage.
Very small crack in the vinyl dash, very common on these trucks. A dash mat will fix or just live with it.
I'm sure I'm forgetting some things so ask any questions. The truck has 250,00 miles on it but that still have another 200,00 miles left on it as these trucks will run for 450,000 to 500,00 miles trouble free. It gets about 21-23 MPG on the highway.
I want $6,500 for it. The fuel system upgrades just done less than 1,000 miles ago cost me over $2,000 alone! This is NOT an old beater! I'm not in any hurry to sell it and haven't posted it for sale anywhere else.
