Heres a question....I understand from my dealer that the 2009 and 2010 Ram 1500's are exactly the same. Published september 2008 the 2009 Ram quad cab SLT with a HEMI and 20 inch wheels with a 3.55 axle can haul a tralier 6,450 lbs. But the exact same truck published on the november 2009 tow chart can haul 8,450 lbs. Whats the difference? I am looking at buying a new travel trailer that weighs 6770 lbs. My 2009 ram hauls the 25 footer and the 20 footer likes its not even there. When i bought the truck i had them replace the stock goodyear tires with General Grabber HTS load range E LT tires because i do haul on occasion.

my 2010 4.7 is rated at 5000 with a max at 7450. I haven't pulled my 6000lb trailer yet but was told there wouldnot be a problem
