I have a 2003 that has recently developed a very loud whistling when I reach speed 60 and up. It's new and I don't know what has caused it. Sounds like it is coming from the vents, but we cannot pin point it. anyone else had this happen?

How'd I miss this??? I've been finding on later 2006's the recirculation door is breaking caiusing outside air to bleed in when it should be closed. You can check it by removing the glove box, then looking up through the opening you should see a grille where the recirc. door is located. With the system completely off, the door should be closed, towards the front of the vehicle. When in any recirc. posistion, the door is in the same position. In all other modes, frsh air should come in, when switching to these modes the door shoul swing back towards the grille/glove box opening. If the door doesn't work at all and flaps loose, the door is broken.
